Rockland Conservatory Project
This was a complete renovation of a former print shop into a music conservatory.
The project started with a plain, vacant, concrete block building. First, the building was completely gutted. All components were updated including new utilities, refinished concrete flooring, new studding, walls & ceilings, enlarged windows, new insulation and soundproofing, new windows, and finishes.
All materials were recycled, drastically limiting the amount of waste.
The result was a beautiful and welcoming space featuring practice rooms, classrooms, an auditorium, and stage. A formerly unused building is now bustling with activity, classes, and concerts.
